What are the current regulations?
Regulations for public venues and stadia are about to become even stricter with the introduction of The Terrorism Protection of Premises Bill, also known as Martyn’s Law, in 2023. This bill was introduced following the findings of the Manchester Arena Inquiry.
The bill is designed to reduce the risk of terrorism by the protection of public venues and stadia and overall increase national security and personal safety. Venues and stadia will also be required to put measures in place to mitigate the threat. This includes implementing security systems and staff training. All security staff hired by Decere are expertly qualified and trained to the highest standard
